Chassis Stiffening

    So i have been trying to figure out something different for making the body more rigid. Without getting a massive amount of bars and braces or even a cage.

    So i found Foam ! i am still looking at which ones work best. But the best part is that the foam has a few benefits, it stiffens the chassis, sound deadens and also it is lightweight.

    This diagram shows you the key places to inject the foam

    Interesting, so is this like that expanding yellow foam stuff? I guess enough of it could be stiffening if you squirt it inside of every hole

    Yup ! theres a few 240 guys that have done it. or seam welding can be done but thats wayyy more work

    I think seam welding would be better, everyone should learn how to weld anyways its always handy.

    I kinda know how to weld but only on a mig welder. i want to learn tig welding

    A mig is all youd need for this, tig is for making sexy welds which these dont need to be.
