No problem man we are always eager to help fellow gen 8 guys. I tried finding that dropzone brand but didn't see any on ebay. Check out the for sale classifieds I know Mack was selling a set just don't know how much. Think he also had a GC set as well I could be wrong.

If you need any help when putting em back together just lmk I don't mind. If you have your old bumpstops or can afford some new ones id highly recommend installing them when you're puttin it back together you won't even notice your car is lowered it will ride so good. Just need the top rubber piece of the stock one, not the dust cover.

I got the Ground Control sleeves from Mack. He had some DropZone sleeves, but Cbass has them right now.

I don't have the dust cover anymore anyway. Did u cut any of the bumpstop or leave it all? I put new ones on when I did the install, but I cut them a little.

Evelio, I would get the Ground Control kit. Everywhere I look, it seems people like them best compared to Skunk2, OBX and DropZone. You would really have a sick setup if you got some Koni yellow inserts, but their kind of a pain to install. It would be like you have a coilover setup, but if your gunna go that route you might as well spend a couple extra hundred dollars and just get coilovers. If you get the yellows, I would get the Ground Control kit because they let you choose your spring rates. I heard from a reliable resource that the Koni Orange struts have the exact same internals as Koni yellow except they are set to full-soft.

    Ohh ok I gotcha

And my stock bumpstops weren't reusable I bought new ones for the front from GC. But only thing you gotta cut off the stock ones are the dust boots. Something is better than nothing that's for sure.

I just bought the strut accessory kit or whatever it's called from Napa. It came with bumpstops and dust covers.

I have the oranges and I love them, half the price of yellows and perform amazing with the GC kit. Not to mention looks great to. My car handles so good now the difference is night and day.

I also have the Orange struts. That pic I posted was something I found when I was doing my install and I was trying to figure out whether or not to use the top perch or not haha.

No I just found these on ebay in case anybody needed some cheap ones I don't believe it'd be necessary to cut any off as your car won't be resting on them they just keep the piston from bottoming out. Check out my thread and you will see the GC bumpstops I bought they are pretty thick and work great didn't cut any off.

Once you take out that oem perch and insert the bumpstops you will be able to bottom out the front coil sleeves without doing damage to the strut or compromising ride quality trust me you will be very happy with it. And it's much easier to grind that adjuster all the way down while you have the strut out rather than trying to fight it when it's installed.

Are those bumpstops squishy or like a hard plastic. I'm not grinding on mine, they already had a mold to fit in the holes and curvature of the perch, from when they were installed previously. They fit fine.

They are a hard foam so they may compress some I haven't checked em GC recommended them specifically for the koni oranges.

The bumpstops I have on the struts now are a soft squishy kind. I just got some at Napa, they are the hard plastic feeling ones. They look identical to yours. Now help me out here.. Look at these pics and tell me where did the washers go on your struts? Top smaller washer or bottom bigger washer?

Grab 4 of each to be safe and I will confirm that for you but you have the right idea.

Ok well I'm almost 100 percent sure it's gonna be the washers on the threads the top ones.

lol hopefully the konis only have one lip for the washer to sit on that would make it easy, but I'm pretty positive mine sat around the threads.
