Help! High Beam DRL Conversion? How?

    Hey gentlemen, so i have a 01 corolla, currently have a switch for DRL already. But i would love to convert my DRL Beam from low to high ( like the one on camry), anyone know how to do it , thanks

    Don't take my word for it, but I think all you have to do is wire it into the harness that is underneath the glovebox, the same one you cut to disable them. You say you have it wired to a switch so I'm thinking that it would all be connected somehow.

    yeah i was thinking it might be as simple as it is swapping wire, but i just have no clue as of now

    Or what you could try is just keep the wiring exactly the same, but swap the bulbs around. Put your low beams into the high beam spot, and put the high beam bulbs into the low beam socket. Then when the DRLs come on it'll be in the high beam area. Just a thought, but then your regular headlights will be reversed for nighttime driving, which could be confusing.

    yeah, still cant find a real solution lol

    i know some 9th gen owner did a swap DRL on theirs, do you think it will work on 8.5 gen too?

    If anyone still got ideas?

    well , i disconnect my DRL and wire it to a switch. Maybe over the summer i will try it and report to you guys. It isnt gonna work for 8th gen for sure (cause 8th gen use single bulb for High and low,right?) but 8.5 (01-02) got high and low separated .
