sorry guys, had to go out of town....anyways my update....

7th gen celica front hub/knuckle will have problems on the 8th gen

1st. You need the celica axle, using the corolla axle will lock up the whole wheel and not spin.

2nd. The tie rod location for the 7th gen celica mounts upside down and lower while the corolla one mounts up right and higher and your turning will suffer tremendously....my passenger wheel is completely turned to the right while my driver wheel is straight.

3rd. You need to figure out how to mount your tie rod at the same length the corolla one does, i was thinking on buying a spacer and using a longer bolt to reach the same height of the corolla mounting position on the hub

4th. This is not a direct bolt on...

NOW as for the Rear i found out the 2nd gen camry and es250 mounting hub boss is half an inch longer, GAAAAY

but the mounting points for the strut are the same for the corolla so that is a plus also with the hub bearing location bolts is the same so you can buy the camry hub boss knuckle and use the st202 rear disc since they are better.

i rather work with the camry hub knuckle than the st202 so ill go return it and get the camry....ill keep you guys updated

And my main interest for the 5 lug swap is mainly for better breaking and rear disc with drum. Not for rims

You mean not those TC rims you got long ago?
    :please:

Though I can understand why you'd want better braking with all the extra weight of fiberglass and bondo.

I doubt im going to finish before toyofest....but who knows.....

alot of work needs to be done for the front tie rod.....im going to have to see if dr.tweak is still alive, that way i can ask him about the front....chances are i might need the corolla 9th gen knuckle due to the corolla being alot higher and less sporty....the reason the celica is lower is due to the sporty suspension, the rear can be done easy but the front is going to be a challenge

New headlights, blacked out with clear corners.

TRD Springs for the front dont lower shit....it lowered at least 1 and a half finger length.....rear is nice

    just got the decals ppl!!!

OK, wow i got a quick response....The fronts will require the corolla/matrix hub and by guessing the matrix XRS will have the bigger brakes the celica gt-s has....

SOOOOOOO with that im going to have to return the Celica gt hubs and bearings along with the knuckle hub from the st-202 and get the camry 2nd gen ones...

5 lug is by far the biggest headache ever....

the 9th corolla, 1st matrix, and 7th celica all have the same front spindle knuckle, no way its going to work with the 8th gen corolla without heavy modifications done to them.

went to the junk yard today and made another discovery....

94-99 celica gt front spindle knuckle has the same position for the tie rod as our corolla....here is the 6thg en celica....
    HowToLables29.jpg

and check out our 8th gen

    $(KGrHqJ,!o!F!MmUWMKgBQM9c0D-ig~~60_12.JPG

HOPEFULLY the axle is the same, going to go try it out 2mrw morning....

here is the 7th gen celica, and look how low that tie rod mount sits....

getting spacers....reason they are farther out.....plus now that im lowered (well partially because of the front being too high) my mudflaps scrape in and out of driveways...

Also my friend has some raceland coilovers, his Celica was rear ended pretty bad and is going to give me his front coilovers, hopefully they fit in the front which i pretty sure they do since the celica knuckles partially fit the corolla.... that way i can get the corolla lowered.

Adding spacers to the wheels will do nothing for the fact that I think the mudflaps stick too far away from the BODY
