Yeah it has those cool light tubes in the tail lights and actual HID projectors. I didn't expect those on a Toyota! Too bad the new Camry didn't look more like the Avalon.

New camry sucks IMO anyway. All that good power wasted through a automatic. where's the manual option? Its about time i wrote toyota a nice letter again.

That's my next move if these hoses don't fix my problem is to swap ECUs. Reading up on the deal the EPA made with Toyota shows that sometimes the ECU is the cause of the code I have.

Ya i thats what i thought before, i had the ECU swapped from the guidelines and diagrams over on the swap thread on TN, it worked but none of the self tests were running, so it would be impossible to smog, and that goes for anyone who used those diagrams. So i had to put it back.

I need to beg Irvin to post up some simplified version of the FULL swap so all of the tests run. Either that or find some time to figure out the wiring manuals he sent me.

I forgot to mention, i had my car smogged a couple weeks back, knowing i was going to fail but i wanted to see the emissions. I passed emissions, so would't this mean that my cat is fine and something else is causing the 420 code?

    Heres my emission results.

exhaust leak? i say that because a leak can make you run cleaner and still throw a code. also checl for vacuum leaks in the intake side

Right, thats what i figured, soooo i mean, MAF and both 02 sensors are new, manifold gaskets are new, down pipe donut gasket new, throttle body gasket new, IACV new, new injector seals, valve cover gasket, P0171 LEAN CODE IS GONE.

Where should i start? Exhaust leak?

Wouldn't a faulty computer show more signs of being faulty though? I mean my readings look pretty normal right? I wish i had a spare ECU laying around or could borrow one from someone ;);)

Can i get the anti fouler at an auto parts store?
    Added: Sep 22, 2012 1:23 AM
K im going to try the anti-fouler mod tomorrow, if that doesn't work I'm applying for the CAP program and taking it to a fucking mechanic. Maybe ill find time to work on a FULL ecu swap and see if that helps as well.
