you know i saw the exact same colored camry with those wheels and was like wow, now those are nice wheels. Came to found out they were TRD's. I was really impressed with those wheels but yea the car looks sick, a manual swap would be nice lol and of course an SC wont hurt

On the Supra? LOL That doesn't look cheap at all. It even has it's own heat isolated box.

Thanks for checking out the thread and for the compliments.

Don't worry, I know you are not bashing my car. The K&N filter is not in backwards and it is designed that way for two reasons. (1) The cold air box that it is in gets smaller from front to back and the filter follows those same lines. (2) There is fresh air channeled from the front of the vehicle to right in front of the filter and the design of the filter allows it to gather as much as possible. It is the factory sequential twin turbo setup and the engine code is 2JZ-GTE.

    *UPDATE*

I never understood why Toyota did not release an OEM dual headrest DVD entertainment system option for the Camry. So I decided that since I have made a TRD Camry (that Toyota again did not release as a package) it needed the rear headrest screens to make it just that much better.

After doing a lot of research to see what could work, I came across an option that was offered for the 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser (which really baffles me because there is not that much room in the rear seat of the FJ for an adult to sit comfortably and watch a movie). I compared the headrests from my Camry (dark charcoal leather) to the ones in the FJ and noticed that they were a 99% match. The only issue would be if the contol box for the rear headrest screens would actually communicate properly with the OEM Navigation Headunit. This is where I had to take a chance and order the 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser Dual Headrest DVD Entertainment System (part # PT900-35070) just to see if it would be compatible (this was during the December timeframe).

I have been on travel for work quite a bit since then but finally had some free time over the past weekend to begin the installation process into my 2007 Camry. Everything fit perfect and looks so nice now that it is inside the car but I did run into one small issue. The screens powered up like normal, played DVD/CDs like they are supposed to, the picture was really good, the wireless headphones worked awesome....but I could not get the audio through the car speakers using the AUX selection on the headunit. Also, the system does not come with any installation instructions...only operating instructions, so all of this was done by trusting my experience.

After some trouble shooting, I figured out that since it was not made for the Camry, the rear headrest screens control box was missing one wire that sent the signal to the headunit letting it know that an AUX input was connected. Instead of re-wiring the entire system, I came across a quick and simple solution. I must have my IPOD cable connected to the AUX input connection that is located in the center console pocket. This allows me to select the AUX input button on the headunit. Then all I have to do is remove the IPOD cable from the AUX input connection when I want the rear headrest screens audio to play through the speakers of the car. Now, here is the real kicker. I have to make sure that that IPOD cable is connected back into the AUX input connection before I shut the car off. If I forget to do this, I have to pull my center console apart so that I can reset the rear headrest screes control box.

Yeah, some of you might think that is a hassle but it actually is not that bad. The cool thing is that I am the only 2007 (GEN 6) Camry with an OEM Toyota Dual Headrest DVD Entertainment System :)

Thanks all for the great comments. The only things that I don't like about a stock exterior supra are the front lip and the chrome wheels. So I have a Powerhouse Amuse front lip from Japan....

Sitting in the basement ready to be installed. I also have a GReddy 3 Row Front Mount Intercooler Kit....

That needs to be installed. So I should have some updated pictures of the supra in the spring time :)

There are different things about both cars that I like/dislike so I consider both eqaul. By the way, here are some pictures from the Fort Hunt Park, VA end of season meet this past weekend....

Thanks. They are not going on until the spring time. I have not purchased tires for them yet and am still not sure which ones I am going to get. I love BF Goodrich and have always wanted the T/A KD but they are not making them anymore. I could get the T/A KDW but am not a fan of the tread pattern. Hopefully BF Goodrich will come out with some new styles next year for me to choose from.

    *Update*

I hit a piece of a tire that came off of a tractor trailer truck with the front lip of my 2007 Camry. Instead of getting it painted, my best friend Simon and I decided to just wrap it with the 3M Di-Noc Carbon Fiber Vinyl.

    sick whips
couple of suggestions, go lower on the supra, CF wrap your front lip on the supra or paint it red and tCF wrap the rear piece on the camry to make it all match. That supra is mint, how many miles does it have?

Very nice!!! My wife gave that to me as a gift when she told me she was pregnant.

    Thank you very much.

Thanks for the suggestions and great minds think alike! I am planning to only do the black part of the rear lip (between the exhaust tips) and also the rear spoiler. I am trying to convince the wife to allow me to also do the two black plastic pillar pieces that are seperating the front and rear doors windows. Here is a picture to give you an idea.

I have the CF vinyl at home to do all of the above and am also planning to do the front lip of the Supra but just dont have the time right now. I will eventually be painting the front lip to match the car but I need to get the JDM side skirts and rear splats so that I can get them all painted at the same time.

I would like to go a little lower with the Supra but I am running a 295 out back which is pushing it for the stock body. Here is a picture of the rear to show you how close I already am and am not looking to rub (plus I do not want to cut/roll the rear fenders).

Right now she has about 55,000 miles and original paint.

I have thought about it but decided not to. I would just get a real CF hood if I was going to go that route.

Luckily my wife and our 6 month old son along with the other individuals involved are all ok. The vehicle that my wife missed having a head on collision with actually stopped and was charged with causing the accident. There is no frame damage, just exterior cosmetic stuff that can be fixed but who knows what the insurance will do.
