I'm a little concerned about this.....

Well I just noticed that my car sits really really low on the rear as well as the front to be stock suspension and there's no extra weight in the back whatsoever so I was wondering if it's that the suspension is like really worn or what's up with that since I don't feel like becoming another I-25 4:00 pm radio station accident statistic due to that lol so anyone run into this kind of thing before?

depends on wut u consider saggin really, do u have any pics? usually the rear is lower than the front, even when the car is stock, but i mean if ur tires are tucked maybe u need new struts.

Just try to push down the front and the rear as hard as you can. Then see how many times it bounds back. If more than once, then the struts are dead.

your springs and struts are shot. replace them, do it yourself, it's not too hard. vamp has an awesome tutorial on it, really helped me out with mine.

my rear end was sagging bad and it would boucy a bunch after a bump. i replaced it with dropzone coilovers, i wish i would have read reviews before investing in them. i did the front, i had my friend do the back, he has an impact wrench. dropzone coilovers are awesome for looks, i can tuck my wheels pretty good, but they suck for comfort! my car takes turns like it's on rails though...so i'm happy, but i'm selling it soon.
funny thing, i took off the right side front strut and i pressed it down, it didnt come back up like it was suppossed to! instead, it just stayed there, so i pressed it down all the way...it started spewing out fluid that stunk like hydraulic fluid...the drivers side strut would push down and come up, but it took more than 12 seconds to totally come up, i could push the strut piston down with my pinky finger. my new struts came up so much quicker and were harder to push down. yeah, those stock struts were funny.

Yea I'm probably gonna spend in the whole suspension like sway bars, new shocks, struts, springs etc... I might even do the rear brake conversion and the 5 lug nut conversion while I'm at it too

sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm getting a bit concerned about my rear wheels on my 02. I can't tell if my springs are sagging or if the camber is just that screwed up. my front wheels have a slight negative camber, but my rear wheels seem to have visibly more negative camber. I drive the car pretty aggressive through the corners so should I bother? it might be helping me at this point. before the negative camber issue the back end of my car would slide out very frequently, now it has mostly stopped.

good camber = even wear and tear on rubber. I honestly cant tell you why negative camber is helping you regarding the sliding issue. How are your tires/tread?

CB, you should know better than to revive a 4 year old thread LOL. But the rear does habe more camber than the front. The rear is supposed to be 1.0 degrees and the front is supposed to be 0.4 degrees. I would only worry if you see extreme sagging or one side has more camber than the other.

Ares, more negative camber will allow you to handle better because as you take a corner the whole car tilts, and if you have negative camber the entire tread of the tire will contact the road. Hence why he's getting better grip. But it could be due to something else that was changed, because I think sagging springs would outweigh slightly negative camber.

yeah I rarely have anybody in my car or anything heavy in the back so the springs should sag less than most. I just replaced my tires.

oh and I revived because I didn't want to make a new one.. info still applicable.. so there! :p

whats funny is people will say something about bringing back an old thread, but then when someone makes a post that's been discussed before the common response is "search"
