the reason the last pic is like it is, cause theres only 1 coat of primer, 3 more coats go on and you cant see where i molded it

    it can be done lol

prolly in about a year or two, theres a few more exterior plans to do, and im getting ready to move out so im gonnabe kinda strapped for cash

and the way my mind thinks, if i painted it, something else would pop into my head to do to the outside, soo may as well play it safe

i was thinkin the same thing when i seen how clean of work he did with the fenders .. honestly a good headlight i would think for the 98-2000 model corollas would def be a Misubishi Galant headlights ! ther already blackouted ... and they have a sleek look to em ..and to be prefectly honest they dont look like theyd be that far off ..

it would be easier just to do it the way i did, useing stock fenders, and Z3 inserts, cause no matter how you do it, a mold will always be a " little " off

Honestly, my first thought was, please god no.

Holy shit it looks fucking good. Damn good work! I've seen so many half asses Z3 fender jobs where you can clearly see they're cheap imitations. Unless pictures are decieving, yours looks clean. I like it!!!

BTW - What kind of glass/hardener did you use and how much did you mix? I've been wanting to dwelve into glass work for a good while now and I have a dummy car to use as well.

i just do it mainly by feel, this is the first time ive done anything like this, before this i helped a friend mold my rear, thought it looked easy, and it was, just takes time, the only thing ive done on my own besides this, was fix a crack in my friends polyurithain ( sp ) lip for his stratus, he got it for $20 so i just basically did my best on it

Cool deal. Did you use any mat? It looks like there are strings from it, but the rest looks to be resin.

Sorry, I ask too many questions.

nah its straght, i used a couple small strips to make it stronger, there was a bigger gap on the drivers side i had to fill, so to make it stronger i cut some mat out and resined it to the fender

the mat basically turns clear when its resined

Sweet. Thanks for the info. I'm just waiting to get the vents I want before I try my hand at some glass work.
