Yumm :D Speaker Upgrade

    Yumm :D Speaker Upgrade

    I put Pioneer TS-A640P 4 way 6.5" and Pioneer TS-A6980R 4 way 6x9s in my Corolla today. Cost me 100 bucks from Best Buy. Gotta love employee discount :D

    The front speakers were done per the DIY on this site. Except I trimmed a little of the plastic on the 4 mounting tabs for a better more solid fit.

    The rears were done by adding window weather stripping single sided foam 1/4" thick by 3/4" wide. This made a complete solid fit when zip tied through the factory holes . No rattle, no vibration :D

    Sounds great. :D

    Oh, and I highly reccomend a good small point solder gun. It's the easist way to hook everything up.
