Green is HP, and blue is TQ. The HP (green) you read the numbers to the right of the map. The TQ (blue) you read from the numbers to the left. Its not that torque goes straight down, just the way the graph reads the numbers by peak and low is why it looks to be a huge difference. Buts its not that much torque considering the way our motors are designed.

thats because the 2zzge was specifically designed for top end horsepower. 1zzfe turbocharged actually does very well and can have a an output of roughly 220 hp with with an upgraded fuel injectors and fuel pump all on stock components. thats what i am working on right now also with the help of the some of the locals and the VF23 turbo System from XS Engineering.

Have you seen the Hass turbo kit matrix xrs? On 9psi it makes 305whp and good torque. Its rediculous. There are videos of it on street fire. If i get promotions at work that after talkin to my boss today, i should be able to have that kit with a slight built motor by next summer :) .

    intresting indeed!
XS Engineering uses 7.5 psi for the 1zzfe due to its compression rings being very close to the combustion chamber.

for instance my redline is only 7400 but it feels higher and liek something is going to give way. but power is all you feel. and since higher oil pressure is needed and cooled with the oil cooling system it delivers better performance.
