Will a celica Gt-s engine fit into a 03 corolla?

If so and without upgrading mass stuff in the frame and everything id probably buy one and put it in since it has a lot of horsepower and you can get those really fast.

With enough $$$ anything can be accomplished. I really don't know how tough a job it would be since it would be a first time project. I would imagine it would be more trouble than it would be worth.

if you really want more hp, go with forced induction. the kits and the cost of installation will cost you about the same as the swap. i am assuming $3000 for the engine, some extra for the tranny and a hell of a lot more for the labor cuz its a custom job. i already checked on that and the total would end up costing me $6000 appx.

Swapping tha engine is doable but get ready to spend $5000+....oh yeah little modification is needed to complete tha swap....all u need is an ecu, and 5spd tranny in addition to tha 2zz-ge(Celica gts or Matrix XRS engine) but it should bolt up right using ur existing engine mounts. 8)

With an extra 5,000 laying around, why not go out and trade your Corolla in with that 5,000 and buy a Celica??

sell the corolla to get an SE-R? are you on crack? those things are so slow...i raced one with the Nismo R-tune package and i beat him pretty solidly... he was a manual too. Any supercharged rolla would whoop up on a SE-R...plus insurance would be cheaper, and you wouldnt be stuck driving a nissan around.

yes... you can drop a 2zz motor into a 03' corolla. Hell the XRS has one and there is no engine bay size change. And its not like the size of the motor got any bigger you would be moving from a 1.8 to a..... 1.8 :p One with lots of that hp stuff but lacks that tq stuff 8)

Did i mention i like cheese? Oh and if your in california good luck droping a motor earlier then 03' :?
