    wideband O2 sensor...

Mainly for S/C guys... (but would love input from anyone)

I ordered a wideband O2 sensor (UEGO)/controller/harness yesterday to see if that would help out the Supercharger/CAI problem that some people are having. (Alot of stories of people running too lean or idling low) Hopefully it works out... I'll let you all know the outcome. Any comments on this or proir experience?

My supercharger should be here some time soon. I ordered from Ted Roach, but he's a very slow guy

Ted is only slow cause he's so busy, lol. And I don't think that the 02 sensor will do crap except give you a more accurate reading, that's the only thing I could ever see it doing but I could be wrong.

What octane gas can you run (premium)? If it's 92 or better, you don't need to do anything, you can just slap the CAI on your S/C and go.

It actually talks to your ECU and gives it a much more accurate air/fuel ratio reading so that it can keep it from running lean.

    That's news to me, interesting.

I am actually very curious to see if this helps any or whatever it does as I don't know of anyone with one. Good luck

My friend bought one for his mustang, but the downside is that they are between $300-$500. its a sensor/controller, and it sends a reading back to your engine managment system more often and more accurate. I'm suprised these things dont come on cars stock. Definately recommended (so im told) for FI cars. After I get everything on, I'm planning a trip to the dyno. Here it's about $45 and you can run up to like 5 times.
