    Which Midsize Car?

Just curious as to which midsize/family sedan people here would buy, if they had the choice of these 9, and also, please tell us why :)

I guess i'll start... I chose a Chrysler 300... just something about the looks and the fact that is it RWD... plus, if I could swing it, either the one with the 5.7 Hemi or the SRT-8 with the 6.1 - 425hp engine could make a very fun and fast car...

I think the Altima. I don't know though. No real reason.

Chrysler 300 man, I drove an SRT-8 and it's just unbelieveable power out of that 6.1 Hemi.

I was sitting in a 300 ready to buy it, but I decided to do some research first. I found alot of them had serious transmission problems. So I stayed with Toyota. ;)

I picked the Camry, but that's mostly because I'm a Toyota nut.

Of course, mine would be a mid-90s Camry with a 1UZFE V8 swapped in, but still...

i picked the hyundai. if i'm looking for a family sedan, i'd want something with the best warranty out there - the hyundai fits the bill. they're roomy enough that my 6'3" tall dad can fit without issue, so i know Mike would fit in one. i also consider this: if i'm buying a family sedan, i'm not going to modify it...i'm going to drive it till it dies. having a midsize family sedan in my possession means i'm going to be popping out a kid, and there's no way i'd have my child in something that is liable to break, or has some sort of uberfast motor. i don't speed as it is...why would i need something that does nothing but suck gas?

    just thinking realistically, here...

I've heard a few good things about the impala. But I've also heard some bad. The Sonata, the new one looks nice and all, but I still think its kinda small...well it looks small to me..lol. I think Hyundai's aren't that bad. My fiance has the Santa Fe and so far so good. Its been the best when hauling things around, packing it with people and even driving in the snow can be fun. I have no complaints on that.

And of course I chose the Toyota Camry. They're comfortable, reliable and just what I would pimp. The Camry was supposed to be my very first car but it was either that or a brand new corolla. so I chose the brand new corolla over the used camry.

Have you seen the interiors of the current generation's Camry? All you need is the BenGay smell and it'll be all set as a retirement home interior! The interior is just plain fugly. I rather be in the inside of a Corolla, than on the inside of a Camry anyday!

Camry...reliable, rides like it's driving on glass, the 6-cyl has plenty of family sedan horsepower.

I would take a Ferrari 360 modena spyder and have chip foose chop it in half and extend it and make it a 4 door :)

Either the Galant or the Altima I think.
Isn't the Passat the midsize VW?

Yeah, some cars might not quite fit the mid-size gendre... 300 might be took big.. but so is the new passat I believe... the new Jetta is a bit bigger than previously... so I *think* it would fit in the mid-size class... but maybe not... I didn't really research this, jsut thought of cars that would compete with each other...
