the only place i've seen it are on other corolla or vvti related forums or on ebay which sells those products. you cant just go to a place and say you want carbon fiber this and that. well not unless you have a lot of money to burn. are you doing this for looks or weight reduction?

Wrapping with real carbon fiber gets really expensive really fast. I got quoted almost 800 for wrapping the hood. I suggest using carbon fiber vinyl. The new generation of carbon fiber vinyl looks almost exactly like the real thing. It even has that 3-D feeling and layered look. I have a few samples of different kinds at home which was sent to me when I bought my red vinyl tint.

ive seen this stuff , even had some . its pretty thick and foil like , it doesnt form on curved suraces at all , and only has a 6 month uv life . no complaints on flat surfaces though , just fades quickly.

Its not thick at all. Its the normal vinyl thickness. When the sun hits it, it gives the illusion that it is thicker and actually real. Its got a 6 year lifespan. It curves with surfaces if you apply it correctly. The secret is more heat.
