Where can I get the power of 1A, 12V ?

    Where can I get the power of 1A, 12V ?

    I want to make a direct power connection with the Audiovox Sirius radio. That way it would free up the cig lighter plug in the vehicle and make a cleaner install of the car.

    From the manual, the radio requires 1A, 12V. I wonder where I tap in? I know the wires are all running at 12volt, but how about the 1A? :?:

    1 amp isnt a problem, that will happen naturally as long as the system can produce that much. (which won't be a problem.) you need to either tap into the power wire to your amp/s( if you have any) or just run a line straight through to your battery.

    Don't forget to add a 2A fuse along the Positive wire!
