What's the point in getting a front strut bar?

What's the point in getting a front strut bar? Does putting a front strut bar make a difference in the way the car feels or handles? I was thinking about buying the Megan Front Strut Bar from ebay, but I just don't know if it will make a difference or not...

Yes to the above. I got the TRD one.

the front strut bar ties the front strut towers together to reduce chassis flex, thus improving handling. the best strut bar would be one strong, solid piece but i highly doubt u'd ever notice the difference between the TRD and the Megan Racing unless u have totally prepped for racing. also u probably wont notice the improvement if ur still riding on stock tires or suspension but if u upgrade those then the strut bar should make a noticable improvement

i got TRD ... feels good.. u wont feel much of a difference once u installed it.. but trust me.. i drove with my TRD strut bar with a year.. and then drove my friend's corolla.. and i noticed that his handling sucks a lot more then mines... but maybe that's just me.. u should test it out for urself.. not an expensive investment..

its true.. you get sort of a smoother ride with a strut bar..
