What's the best personal financing software?

Hey all. Now that I'm moved out of the house (again), I want to be able to keep track of my finances and budget so that I can figure out how much I can afford between rent, utilities, food, the turbo, maintenace, and fun. What personal financial software do you recommend to use and why? Thanks.

Lol, took me a sec to figure what you meant. You mean Microsoft Money? I'll have a look at that. Do you know if it can intergrate with tax programs, like Quicken does with TurboTax?

hummm... i don't know I would think so.. i never tried it. microsoft does not have its own tax software and I think that was part of the settlement from the justice dept. but don't quote me on that.

Go to staples and buy a spreadsheet/column type ledger book, and keep track in there.

Add up all your bills per month......subtract that from what you make per month. What exactly do you want a computer program to do for you?

Well, it would be nice to download all my info from my bank's website. I find it easier for me to keep track of things on a computer than with pen and paper.

True, but sometimes theres a delay in something being posted to your account, and if you send out checks to pay for your bills, and not put it in your ledger book by hand, youll have less than what the bank is telling you.
