    what to do

should I pay $250 for a set of trd wheels then another $??? to have a bent one repaired, plus a new set of tires ($312) = $600-$800 ??

or just buy a new set of rotas & tires for $800

attached a picture of the bent one, the rest are in used but undamaged condition. that bent part is on the outside of the wheel, so it does get seen when driving.

actually it turns out $325 once I pay the gas to go get them. so now it's $325 + repair costs + $312 tires = $700... guess it's not a good deal.

i say trd but make sure you go to a place where they can fix the wheel well. one place i went to fixed the wheel but it was forever balanced incorrectly. i mean.. it made the balancing of the tire go bad very quickly.

Also consider that each TRD wheel weights 19lb without tire.

That's because it isn't a true TRD wheel. It's just a rebadged piece of crap wheel. I remember finding the exact wheel in the Team Loco catalog. The true TRD wheels have to be imported. The TRD wheels here are mostly rebadges.

My knockoff Heliums are 10.6 lbs. The real Volk CE28N's are 6 lbs each and cost 3 times as much!
