what size speaker will fit in door and tweeter on pillar?

hello i called crutch field to find fitment for doors. they say i should go for componet speaker infinity 5000cs. but 5 1/4 size
i read about cutting the stock speaker and mounting over the stock bracket.
my question is can i go for 6 1/2 componet and mount the tweeter on the pillar wher the factory tweeter is without a hassle
or can i get a 6 1/2 two way like a kappa or a good pioneer in there without having the tweeter hitting the door panel. the crutchfield guy says i wont have clearance for the door panel. any reccomendations what to put in there. im gonna stay with the factory unit untill i have enough bucks for a good alpine deck and a small amp. i allready changed the rears with good pioneers. and just doing that made a giant improvement. but i got more rattles back there now. i got a box of rammatt to slap in the trunk so ill be cool there. any suggestions ??

I have 6.5 Audiobahn in the front and I have the tweeters where the stock ones would be on the s type. I cut a hole for the tweeters. I like how it turned out. here are so pics. http://www.cardomain.com/member_pag...?page_id=377169 page 5

why do u want a 6.5 u can get a 5.25 with just as much sound and it could also hold the same amount of power. really alls your doing is making it more of a hassle to install. if the magnet is too large ur window might not roll down all teh way.
