what should i go with-springs or coilovers

I live in michigan first of all and got 17inch rims wiht the S kit. I am looking to lower it, but don;t know what to get. Coilovers are not smooth as springs and i heard it is a bumpy ride. Springs, i can't adjust the height. What should i go with? u guys should have experience with this before, so give me some tips. What brand are good for springs or coilovers?

If i get springs- i would get Teins
    If i get coilovers-most likely-arospeed or dropzone

Get H&R with 2.0" drop. Very high quality springs and good performance, IMO.

Whatever you do dont get dropzone, all i ever hear is shit about them.

I didnt know aerospeed made coil overs for our cars. I know Skunk 2 dose thou, but i think those are the real bumpy ones.

it depends on how much you wanna spend. You can get the springs which are inexpensive and a decent ride. if youre gonna get S.Techs, be aware that it can cause rubbing with those 17s you got. Coilovers are more pricey, but you have the option to how much you want to drop it. ride quality on those depend on what brand and kind of coilovers they are...the stiffer Racing/Performance/Sports or the softer Luxury/Comfort/Cruise.

i had arospeed on my integra b4 and with tokico shocks

the arospeed quality is not up to most peoples standards the coilover is like throwing the balance of the car in a weird way.....

if u want adjustability there u go ground controls coilover (eibach), skunks are there
for a good but stiff ride.... not too bouncy with aftermarket struts...

i am still searching for the bmw handling thou lol hehhe our cars too light and front wheel drive
i think its gonna be hard to exactly duplicate
