what oil/filter do you use?

    currently using mobil 1 10w30 oil and a fram filter. since my uncle gets the oil for free. im thinking of trying royal purple on the next oil change, or trying 5w30 instead,as one of my friends suggested. since i got my car i can tell its been burning oil more this year than when i first got it. also my MPG kinda dropped. when gas was almost 5 bucks 2 years ago in socal, i was getting 400 miles on a full tank. atleast..... unbelievable as it sounds i recall getting 440 once. but now i cant seem to get past 310. on a full tank. anything to help?

    I've noticed the same with mine I wanna know if 5w30 would help or the royal purple would it help burn less oil?

    I think the 5 dollar gas was more than 2 years ago... I have my receipt from the first time I filled up, in December 09, I paid $1.85
