ok, i own a 97 corolla. so i was happy when i saw it in officespace, envy and dawn of the dead. however, in dawn of the dead, it's totally fake what the corolla is capable of. she's like spinning the tires when she goes in reverse on the driveway. i know for a fact that a 97 corolla, auto, has trouble doing that when it's storming rain outside

it's wierd to see them with lesser models in the movies than mine. i drive a dx, i think they show a dx in dawn of the dead. in officespace, i belive he drives a ce or le. same goes for in envy, and his is always in crappy condition.

in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Jim Carey drives a Corolla, i can't remember the exact year but its somewhere between 93 and 97

you can spot a corolla in the fast and the furious too.

Some movie recent one with Samuel Jackson and Ben Affleck (Something about switching places). I think its a silver 88-92.

Office Space - The main character drives a sand drift 97 CE.

Whole Nine Yards there is an 88-92 corolla that they blow up.

On the TV show Still Standing there is a 98-02 corolla parked outside the house in some shots of the street/house front outside.

Also there was an episode of Americas Wildest Police videos which showed a 98-00 Corolla get the Pit Maneuver.

I was watching the news last night and in iraq there was a 97 corolla right there. Everyone else is walking on a dirty street, I'm sure having one is a huge luxury there.

lol, this is a funny thread, i actually spotted a few corollas in flicks, too, like Eternal Sunshine, Envy, ALong Came Polly, Changing Lanes, Spiderman, etc, so i started to take quick pics of them while i'm watching dvd's, and was going to post them up once i got a significant number

I thought driving a corolla was a luxury everywhere?

It's a luxury for me... I dun have to take busses anymore or ask for rides.

In Hitch there is a 98 style Corolla parked on the side of the road. I just happened to notice it. It had no signifigance to the plot.
