What mileage are you getting with your tires?

    Dear Corolla brethren (and sisteren),

I would like to get some idea of the mileages people are getting with their tires. Please let me know:

    1. Car and year.
    2. Manual or automatic.
    3. Suspension changes (specifically, springs, shocks, and/or sway bars?)
    4. Tire type, size, and pressures.
    5. Mileage down to the wear bars.

I have a 2004 Corolla CE with manual, running Hotchkis springs, camber shims on the rear, car is aligned properly and wearing tires evenly and predictably, wore out the stock Goodyear Integritys in 14,500 miles (down to the cord, actually), currently have Kumho Ecsta HP4 716s 195/60-15 with 9,000 miles on them and expecting to hit the wear bars by 11,000 miles. Was running them at 37 front/34 rear, currently 40 front/36 rear.

I am very bummed that I am not getting more mileage from my tires. I do drive very aggressively (do not autoX) and am wondering if driving a general, all-season tire very hard may actually wear it out quicker than if I had a low-profile plus-size tire.

    Thanks peoples!

I have a 94 corolla with manual tranny my supension is stock with the same Kuhmos you have in 175/65-14. Soon it will be placed for eibach/tokico combo and TRD strut bar and Yokohama avid H4S in 185/65-14.

Kuhmos are not good tires, especially good year. You should go for a high performance like Yokohama, falken, or other good brand tires for your ride. How low does your car sit, and how hard you corner?

Right now running 17x7 inch Eneki RS-5's with a 205/40/ZR17 Falken Ziex ZE 512's running 35 PSI all the way around.
Milege to wear bars, I dunno these tires are not made for my type of driving so I am wearing them at a fast rate

96 rolla with some crappy all season goodyears on 14" stock steelies, stock everything
had them for over 2 years now, they were used for a year before me, and are in good condition still. probably will replace them before winter just becuase I like lots of tread for all the snow we get here (or just get winter tires and keep these for another year). That'll probably before they are needing replacment though.
Put on about 40,000km's in the last 2 years.

automatic, with 32 in the front and back. stock springs, struts, with 135,00km on the car.
