Engine what is this engine?

    the engine itself won't fit...why do you want to get almost the same motor? you CAN do an intake manifold swap, if you're going for the plastic intake mani...

    god damn it! I got that engine from a parts recycler. The invoice says 02 engine and this is definately an 03. Now i have to send it back

    no... I need a new engine.

    what is this engine?

    what is 1zz ea5zn or maybe its 1zz ea5cn??

    it has a plastic manifold

    ok this is what i gather. I can't use the upper end/head because that would require a change of ECU and wiring. But the bottom end and probably the sensors down there are OK and should bolt to the engine mounts and tran.

    Next question: When people do an "engine swap" do they assume keeping the old head/top end or using the new one? E.G.: am i gonna have to pay more to use the 03 engine? it's a nice engine... only 31k miles and cleeeeeean

    when people do an engine swap, they pull the FULL motor and put another FULL motor in.
