What is brighter than SilverStar? Upgrade suggestion?

After hearing all the praise for Silverstar, I finally bought them. This afternoon, I modded and installed one SilverStar 9005 bulb for the low beam of the right headlight, and keep the stock bulb for the left side. It was definately brighter and whiter than stock, but maybe I expected too much, I thought it would be as bright as the HID that BMW has. Hehe....

Well, my question is that if I use 100w bulbs with light upgrading kit, will the result be much better than Silverstar, maybe even close to real HID?

    Thanks.

Yeah, I am aware of that lumen matters.
    I found XD5's lumen is:

    9005 12v 65w with 1700 lumen, and the 100w version has 1750 lumen

    9006 12v 55w with 1000 lumen, and 80w with 1500 lumen

    Source: http://www.gaontrading.com/file/E-catalog(XD5).pdf

The numbers are kinda strange. From 65w-100w, the lumen only increases by 50?

Also the lumen of Silverstar's 9005 is also 1700 lumen at 12v, 65w. According to the numbers, they should have similiar brightness.

Anyway, I know they are just numbers. I'll try them when I got a chance.

Also Stinky you once recommand the following bulbs. Are they the second best to XD5 in your opinion?

those FX bulbs are the ones I originally used. I tried the other ones, but found that they just looked blue. So thats why I started wanting the hgiher Kelvin rating. I find the 5000K FX bulbs work just fine, and give me some good light. I also am now using the XD5's. I like that the glass is slightly lighter colored so my headlight housing doesnt have the really blue tint to it when the lights are off.

But you will need the relay kit to run those.

Also its only the high beams that dont get much brighter with the higher wattage. The low beams have a big difference.
