What i think i'm going to do....

ALRIGHT GUYS! I see all of yall have plenty of suggestions and I think i've come up with a decent setup. Tell me what you guys think.

First off, I'm prolly gonna spend under 300 for this system to begin with. Then i'll work my way up to some new speakers later, etc. when i get more $

    I found this guys: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/bundleDetail.do?oid=86765&bundleId=1838&c=1&cm_re= main%20marquee-_-Buy%201%20Infinity%20sub,%20get%201%20free-_-Save%20$190%20on%20combined%20purchase%20of%20Sony %20amp,%20subs%20and%20sub%20box

I read the reviews, and so far they have all been positive.

I also took the advice regarding getting a new deck into consideration. I think i will go ahead and buy a new deck, since almost ALL of you guys recommended to do so.

So yeah, theres my "plan". $240 for the package... and ?$ for the new deck. i NEED SUGGESTIONS FOR THE NEW DECK? Which brand is good? Which would suit this package?

Thank you guys so much for the help!

I'm personally a Clarion fan boy... but Pioneer and Alpine are excellent too...

And, personally, i'd stay away from Sony for car audio... i've had 2 experiences with Sony car audio in the last few years... both negative... good thing it wasn't in my car, heh...

Personally, I've had both an alpine and a pioneer (currently in as we speak) and I have to say that I'm pretty damn happy w/ the pioneer.

I'd reccomend looking online. Here's why I say that. Scope out a deck you want over at some kind of Car Audio site... in my case that would be Pioneer. From there, I took the Model Number (DEH-P7600MP) and searched that over on ebay. From there, I just scoped out the best possible price.

My end result... I Paid about $236 after shipping and had got the deck about 3 months before any of the major retailers had got them in stores... I checked out Best Buy and they had it going for $290 plus install.

I had a pioneer in my previous corolla. Actually I had two different ones. And they both lasted a long time and I was extremely happy with it. To be honest, the whole car was on a Pioneer setup with the exception of the amp and SAS Tube.

Even my stock Pioneer headunit in the tC is beast!!! People are only changing them out cause they want monitors in there. But its not that common to have someone switch it out for a non-pioneer headunit.

Alpines are good as well. Never heard anything bad about it.

    Pioneer, Alpine or Panasonic.

The Panasonic 600-U I had in my Grand Prix lasted for 2 years, two attempted thefts and 3 of my friend's spilled sodas. That's my personal favorite out of all decks, but the other two are also fantastic decks.
