This was pulled from another one of my forums...tell me if you can "read between the lines," or if, like myself, you think this guy is just a jack-ass.

...I'd like some opinions on this and I'll bring up another one of his later posts.

so is he pissed because the limiter is there or because of where it is... speed limiters are set to the max speed rating of the tires that come on the vehical form the factory... there for a tire with a rating of R will have a much lower speed rating than one with a Z rateing...

He said he couldn't pass a car going 95mph? If he would have been going 103mph, he could have passed quite easily... I thinkt his guy is just irresponsible, i've driven that fast (and faster, like 135mph) a few times, but only for short stints with nobody else on the highway... but driving straight at those speeds, at the tires limits, in the heat of the desert, not smart imo...

he's a fu_king idiot! sounds like me when i am not thinking clearly and am pissed off. freedom taken away shit he mest be fu_king stupid. i have driven from CA to LV before and yes it seems slow but it you're smart you know how to drive correctly and too stop being an a-hole.all hes has to do is get the restrictor taken off but considering his vehicle is newer,warranty probably won't cover it and he will be screwed and then to add to that some new vehicles have black boxes in them so when they get taken in to get serviced the dealer know how fast the vehicle has been driven and mistreated accordin to the vehicle's readings and codes.

accord stops at 155 max w/o limiter no redline, 135 w/limiter,does not go past 7K rpm
rolla= goes past 110 and i have no idea where it stops w/o limiter, w/limiter at 108
volvo marks 120 but goes well over passed what it marks and it never had a limiter so i have no idea what it could cut off at.
98LE rolla cut off at 108 max,never took off the limiter
BMW speedo broke while maxing so i have no idea where it stopped,
dad's GMC sonoma, used to cut off at 90 mph, after slight mods it does not cut off anymore.

haha the guy is a tool. trucks = lower limiter cuz of worse handling. my brothers ranger cuts off at 105 too.

hehe. trucks were not designed for speed IMO, they were deisgned to get through things,pull and haul.

when he said freedoms the first thing that came to my head is, mofo you got freedom and you can do whatever you please but, don't be crying if you get screwed over. because he is just being stupid.

tell him to go and buy an X-runner,Harley Davidson F-150,Chevy SS,Ram SRT-10,and old or used Lighting,or he can go for the real beauty, imo, that is, a chevy w/a 720 that sucker can haul ass.

i am not going to say anything about having thier liscenses taken away becaust i tend to drive very fast at times, and i do mean fast. though not wreckless, i am just glad i have not crashed and are still alive.
