Engine What colors should i go with ......

    What colors should i go with ......

    Ok Guys and Gals ..... I need some HELP .... You all have given me good advice in the past now i need you again .... I want to dress up my motor but i dont want to go crazy ... I feel the color of my car makes it so hard to match up .... The pictures you are looking at are what the motor looks like now .... Yellow battery and intake was bought like that .... blue wires were purchased in that color and so were the ends on my upper bar I had no choice in that ,,,, This is where i need your help ..... What colors should i go with my motor if you can photo shop it that will be great too..... and the second question i want to get some neon lights .... What color on those should i go with .... but with out using the ILLEGAL colors ... I know thats hard but i want to be able to put them on time to time when I'am driving down the road....The third picture you see is kind of where i got my idea from it isnt my car and no that is not the color i was gonna choose....THANKS !!!! :) ( P...S..... Is there away i can clean my valve cover to make it shine if not paint it ?? )

    Just my 2 cents, but I think everything would look better if you painted it black. Colors under the hood are useless. And colored hoses aren't as strong as the stock traditional reinforced hoses. They can collapse on themselves as they age. I've found that black and chrome go hand in hand and look very clean. Maybe you should try that. That's my color scheme anyways. I don't have a bling amount, just traces of chrome accents from the strut bar and such. Just keeping it simple. :)

    I think it would looks hot if it's in gunmetal.
    And I think you should take out the strut bar and paint it too.

    I did a little light sanding, taped off the nuts and the threaded areas, sprayed a light coat of primer, and they sprayed a black caliper paint over it a few times. Came out great!

    Black and leave the bolts. That gives it a nice black and chrome look.

    That is nice .... can i get your cover ....LOL..... The flip trunk i will look where i bought it from and if i cant i will take a picture of mine .... its easy ..... I was looking for a vvt-i cover like that but some one said it might not fit on my car....but yes you do have a good motor and that cover helps .... but the best so far is stay with black try to find somethingn to cover the yellow up and clean her up .... but if you know of a cheap cover let me know and i mean CHEAP >... LOL

    Hey, I found someone in 9thgen selling the cf TRD cover for $100 yestarday. You might want to go take a look. :D
