    What C pillar??

Hey guys I just got a White 2003 Type S Corolla , I hate the stock speakers so im changing em. Ive read the DIY on the rear speakers but im still stuck, Im not sure what im suppose to do after i remove the 7 plastic screws, i tried removing the plastic that the screws held down but i wasnt sure if i was suppose to take that cause it seemed that i shouldnt of had to do that to get to the speakers. Im stupid on this cause I keep thinking im gonna break something. So if u guys could lemme know what a c pillar is and if u could also help me out a lil more on how to get the rear speakers out

The C pillar is the plastic right behind the rear window.

Your A Pillar is the bar next to the windshield, B is between the two windows, and C is the one between the back window and the rear window.

Carefully pull the C pillar trim off (both sides) than you can remove the rear deck trim. The C pillar trim is held on by 4 or 5 (can't remeber) plastic trim clips.

    OK, here's a picture.

I've circled the locations where the clips holding the C-Pillar in place are. If you look carefully, you'll see that two of them stayed in place when I removed the trim,

Go right ahead. You might want to grab it and shrink it a bit.
