    Weekend Trip

I am going to flagstaff this weekend, as i live in phoenix i am wondering if i need to winterize my car past flushing and new antifreeze for my radiator, and low temp washer fluid?

highs are going to be in the mid to upper 40's
lows are in the mid to low teens

or do you think i will be fine with my fluids right now?

I was going to say something to the effect of "WOW!!! must be nice mid 40's" but its like 60 in denver right now... but you should be fine, I've never winterized my car even when we have crap winters, being in the 40's would be nice the past couple of years..

I have 80W-90 MTF in my car at the moment (breaking in the new tranny, 80W-90 was 15% the price of 70W) below 32 it doesn't want to shift very easily.. has to warm up first.. soon as I do my next oil change it's back to full synth. 70W-90

Try Redline 75-140 - that stuff rocks for shifting.

thx for the offer. I just bought a ultimate detailing machine 1000 (porter cable 7424 based) and a few polishes, just need to get some pads and microfiber towel and I'm in business I think. I'll definitely be posting before & after pictures though :)
