    Meguire's 3 step wax.
It worked great on my corolla. The paint was really shitty on it, and it did a good job of taking out some of the swirl marks, and at least giving it a "deep" look. Takes a lot of time (becuase you have to apply and remove 3 layers), but I think its worth it, as long as the weather is decent and I'm in no rush.

I used turtle wax only once on my corolla, didnt like the look of it. Still using the left overs from that one use to wax the jet-ski's though. Works good enough for those.

That particular color is hard to get that "deep" and "wet" look to it. Might try claybar or some fine polish first, then try a synthetic wax (helps fill in little pores and cracks in the finish). Clear coats will never get that look that good rubbed lacquer finished used to get - but they are heck of a lot easier to keep up on.

Turtle wax (blue stuff) is not very good. The new Platinum series is pretty good - but you have to have a decent finish to start with. Can't go wrong with Meguiar's, Mothers, Zaino, Klasse, and some of the newer polymer/synthetic stuff.

I don't really care much for the synthetic stuff. Havnt had much good experience with it. Mothers or Meguiar's is what I normally stick to (meguiars more than anything). Claying is another good idea if you have a lot of oxidation and other crap on your car.

i use a meguiars 3 stage wax, it takes a good 3-4 total though but i only do it like once every 4 months cuz its not daily driven, if it IS daily driven i suggest every month. The first step is a paint cleaner which takes out oxidization and minor swirl marks. I find that it works quite well cuz when you run your hand on the paint it feels smooth instead of feeling little particles. Second step is the polish. this brings out the color of the paint so its a sharper touch. I dunno if this really works but i do it anyway cuz its part of the steps. Then the last step is the Carnuba Wax. After this is applied you really see the difference. I've been using this wax for a long time and its never let me down
