Engine water pump leakage

    water pump leakage

    alright so the new engine has been in for three weeks or so. the pump is starting to leak. i bought a new pump from toyota today and we replaced the o-ring, but after torquing all that shit down it still leaked, more than the old pump!

    can we use RTV to seal it up more? this car is pissing me off. i need to finish it all so i can sell it.

    pull the pump back off..... (drain as much as you can, of course)..... and where it's leaking, get rid of whatever gasket you're using and use the permatex water pump sealant.... works awesome
