I don't think I'd want to do that. I don't want the paint to have to peel off or the color fades and later won't match.

I want to avoid doing things for looks. I just want it to handle good. When I had the stock 15in GoodYear factory tires, it handled like crap. Lots of body roll and no grip. The tires would squeal and slip with any launches over 2,500rpm. Now it handles a lot better, although it isn't as "soft" around pot holes as it once was. I guess it's a trade off. Once I do the suspension work, I'll be 100% satisfied. It's a Corolla so it's kind of a waste of money to get no more than a 10hp increase with hot air intakes and loud exhaust systems.

I had an 01 red S. It was a nice car. I think those handled better "stock". However, I feel that the newer generation has more power, despite it having only 5more hp. Motor Trend tested an 04 CE 5spd 0-60 of 7.9sec. Nothing to brag about, but definately quicker than my older 01 S of 8.8sec

I might get a Miata or an MR2 Spyder later this year and fix one of them up.

wusup man,i know not all loud exhaust gain alot of hp but its way better than stock exhaust and you should feel some gain.if you want intake go with cold air intake instaed of short ram if you worried of sucking engine heat or just go turbo for serious hp.anyways nice rims!...
