    Venom 400

i want to buy the Venom 400performance module for my rolla, i called Venom and they said they tested the 400 on a 96 auto rolla and it achieved a 34 horsepower increase at 60% throttle angle...is this a good buy or no, i dont want to fuck my car up! please give me your input!

i thought all that thing did was modified the tps signal in pot style throttle sensors making the ecu think the throttle is open more or less than it is in reality. There were a big discussion back in the days on c3 or the old vvti.net, I dont much remember the details..

NOOOOOO!!!! Don't waste your money dude. I use to have one on my 97 and I didn't feel a damn thing. For $200 freaking dollars and all you get to see is a little light go back and forth when you press on the gas. Dude, if you get it, I won't say I told you so. It is a complete and total waste. 34 hp my ass, it was more like 3.4 like he said. 3.4 aint worth $200 damn dollars. I was pissed about that buy. Needless to say, I toss that bitch in the trash.
