    Valve cover

Ive been meaning to take the valve cover off to see whats going on in the head. i have a weird noise coming from up top my mechanic says its either a cam messed up or a the chain rubbing bad on one of the sprockets so i want to take the cover off. anything i should be worried about in doing so. i know keep the screw in order and maybe alternate when tightening them back. i had one question do the cover bolts need to be torqued to a specif ftlb or inlb cause i dont have a torque wrench.

i just bought a full gasket set off ebay for 60 bucks it was like 170 at autozone mainly because the valve gasket is a special order part and i would have to wait.
