    VACUUM lines questions

Those with the SF kit on the 1zz.......I need to know where the plastic "T" is supposed to go, I'm pretty sure I have it in the wrong line.

Also, I see that most of you have the hose disconnected from the top front of the engine.....why? What did you do with the other end?

    Thanks

What do you have connected to the T right now? Stafford unplugged the hose to the crank case because he said it would let it breath... I never got a filter for mine so its spitting sludge all over my engine bay... I believe it went back to the throttle body, which is now capped off on mine.... I meant to look at Seans to see if his is the same.

right now, I have the BOV, and the fuel pump connected to the "T".
So I should unplug that hose in front, and cap off the other end? I have a breather filter. I need to know which line gets the "T"

Also the line that comes from arounf the TB and goes into the stock airbox....where is that supposed to go now?

    Here ya go..

PLEASE do not use the breather line from the head to the throttle body for vacuum pressure.

Take the line from the valve cover and remove it. Cap off the end at the throttle body and get a breather or fashion a catch can so oil does not coat your engine like it is Brian's.

Look at the image I have below to find the line you want to tap into.. Don't worry about the year difference because it is the same on all 1zz engines. All you do is find the VSV and tap into the line between the VSV and the throttle body.

yeah the reson I had so much trouble, is because the vacuum lines weren't routed correctly to begin with. That's strange. But it's all fixed now
