V6 Camry axles -- will they fit?

I'm going to need new axles soon..does anyone know if I can install ones from a V6 Camry? They're the same price..and if they'll fit, I might as well install something stronger.

The Corolla axles have a lifetime warranty ($60/ea), but I'd rather have stronger ones..just because. :p

The engine has nothing to do with it..

I thought I had read somewhere that V6 Camry axles could be a possibility for a Corolla to hold 200+hp..maybe I made it up. *shrug*

Ah well..I probably won't be breaking them anyways.

I ran a couple of searches on MR2OC.com since they do V6 swaps over there. Turns out that they could use V6 Camry/Solara axles but some modification needs to be done to the axle. Also you might have some issues bolting it up to your transmission. So in other words, yes it's possible to fit the Camry/Solara axles, but some modification needs to be done. It'd say the swap isn't worth it.

On another note, I was surprised to find during my search that someone had swapped a Celica GT-S C60 transmission into his MK1 MR2. Nice.

Hopefully. It'll be a while, though.
