Actually yes, heres what I would do to beef of the tranny. First order an aluminum transmission cooler kit

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...sspagename=WDVW

This one is a little big, but as long as after you install it you fill your tranny fluid to the correct lvl you will be fine, This thing will probably take half a quart of volume after the tranny has ran fluid through it. This combined with replacing your tranny fluid will help alot with shifting speed and smoothness. This will also extend the life of your tranny and fluid. Just remember to not over fill your tranny fluid at all , it very very bad for your transmission to overfill he fluid. anyone who ever has had a transmission line blow right on the face and head, and been poisned by ATF will tell you to be careful not to over fill it.

Now that will maybe cost your 50 bucks or less all in all.

For the more serious racer you wanna look at getting a higher stall toque convertor, look at about 1 grand or so and core exchange. The higher the stall on the TC means that it will basically spin the flywheel side to what ever desired rpm before the pressure is high enough for it to lock and engage the tranny side. So if you have a 3000 rpm TC your can basically torque load your car right into the powerband before launching. Some of the fastest supras and subarus that drag are automatics.
