update on the SI..in my cousin's hands, 56k no no

well, as many of you know, my SI got defaced, and i handed over the ownership to my cousin..he's having a great time with her..and he's done a lot in 1.5 months..

    ITR 5 lug conversion
    ITR gunmetal rims
    OEM fog lights
repaired the fender, door, hood, headlight

this is how the car would look with a 5 lug conversion and the rims..ghetto 2 min chop

Seeing those pics of your Si makes me miss mine. :( That was a fun car to drive. The only thing I didn't like about it was all the unwanted attention it brought.

we were gonna do a JDM ITR b18c swap with USDM ITR tranny w/ LSD

but since we can't pass smog with JDM motors, we might just do a k20..but not until next year..he's getting some JDM recaro's shipped right now

and civiceater, if you dont like what you see, simply click the back button on your IE, why waste time posting?

You just gonna drop in the swap or plan on modding it a little.
as a side thought... You should get a spare P28 <hondata remapped au-naturalle> or Mugen for racing. Just use the stock one for emissions... <cali I assume... god i hated cali... stooopid emissions>

ecu would have nothing to do with emissions on a JDM motor, it wont pass at all

why would he need a p28? he's gonna be doin stock b18c, no point in hondata, he's not gonna be adjusting his vtec or anything

Isn't puting a k20 in an EM chassis a hassel? I know you can do it to the newer civics, but I guess anything is possible. If you want extra displacement, you can always do B20+B16 Head. That would be nice. Me personally would keep and mod the B16, or if I had to swap, I would do a B18C1 with either a JRSC or Turbo.

k20 into a civic is just like putting a b18 in there with an extra step, hasport has made mounting kits for the k20 engine into a 96-00 civic chasis..

CRVtec is nothing compared to a k20 civic.., b20 blocks have very thin cylinder wall, plus they're out of a CRV, which is considered a truck, and it wont pass the BAR, might as well go k20, more power, more aftermarket, and pass smog at the same time..

if you're gonna get a b18c1, put it in a SI, and turbo it, you're spending just the same amount of cash as a k20 into the civic, plus k20 has much more potential than a b18c1 turbo

Damn, didn't know Hasport made mounts for the 6th gen Civic... That's cool, good luck with it. BTW, lol on the H-T quote, so true.
