Upcoming Downtime Saturday 10/8/2005 7:00a PDT

    Upcoming Downtime Saturday 10/8/2005 7:00a PDT

    As discussed in an earlier thread, the site will be going down for a few hours this saturday. The majority of our visitors will return on monday to a new software version, but it will look the same.

    I'm planning to start the work at 7am PDT (Pacific time). The process may take several hours so the site will be back at Noon (PDT)..


    (I'm being conservative with the time estimate.. I only think it will take an hour or so, but I need to leave time incase something goes wrong)

    Thanks for volunteering me to be on standby @ 8am to handle database kabooms... hehe (jk, i'll be up around then anyway, make sure i've got a backup too thats fresh, just in case)
