Does anyone have a picture of the full underneath of our car. I saw one here at one point in time I think oddfish had posted it about sway bars but now sure. Thanks

Yeah when I went into my local shop, they put in a header back exhaust system. Now all I need is a header to complete it. I can tell from the underbody picture that my pipe starts at the position where the header is located under the car and goes all the way back (3inch piping)...nice pic by the way

Naw bro I wish I could but I cant. I gotta save up and buy a "commuter" car so I can stop driving my rolla around as my everyday car. Im working on getting it show ready and I dont want to put a lot of miles on it.

Hey if you could label the lift points for a floor jack that'd be great

yeah - the towing eyelet. The eyelet is also part of the center member. You have the suspension cross-member, but the center member running front to rear that's the support for the front and rear engine mounts. Also, perhaps the returnless fuel pressure regulator that's to the inside of the LEFT REAR wheel (I assume that's what the black plastic box is there).

I believe the lift points are on a metal bar along the sides of the car. They are the thickest part of the bar i believe, i think thats what u mean.

Yeah on the metal part that sticks down a little bit just inside the plastic rocker panels on each side...U'll see two little "teeth" niches in them where the holder on the jack goes.

Yes - the notches on the sides are for the jack that is supplied with the car. But for using a floor hydraulic jack - the correct place for that is the towing eyelet.

by the way you labeled the carbon canister the fuel pressure regulator... the fuel pressure regulator is actually in the tank on the fuel pump.

Also, 'Front Exhaust Pipe' points to the resonator, 'Tail Pipe' is the muffler, 'Rack and Pinion Steering' shows the (right) outer tie rod, 'Front Suspension Arm' is the front suspension's (right) lower control arm, 'Floor Brace' is actually a floor cross member, 'Rear Axle Beam' is the rear suspension's torsion beam, 'Front Bumper' is the front bumper cover, 'Rear Bumper' is the rear bumper cover, and to get really picky, 'Spare Tire' shows underneath spare tire compartment.

Nice job on the annotations Best.. thanks :)

There is a small flap (@ 8" wide, 2" high) that is riveted on the bottom front of the drivers side wheelwell on my car... rather like a small mudflap in front of the tire. The item is visible when looking under the car from the front or side. There is no similar item on the passenger side so the assymetry is puzzling... should there be one on the passenger side? Anyone have any idea what purpose it serves?

    Thanks

Ok so the towing eyelet is the proper place for using the floor jack. Last time I jacked up the car I used the front suspension crossmember... oops
What's the best way to jack up the rear of the car? Is there an actual lift point or is it better to jack up one side at a time and use jack stands?

theres a large boxy piece of metal hanging down in the rear between the rear axle beam and the spare tire right in the middle of the car.... look in you owners manual.... it shows you all the jack points.
