TWM short shifter on the car

    you guys need this shifter.

much shorter than stock. seems to reduce throw by about 90%

has a great "notchy/sporty" feel to it.

you get into second way quicker, but into third even more so. second gear chirp is now a pronounced squeal. much easier to stay on top of the powerband through the shift.

install issues, that clip is a bitch to get off. other than that, smooth sailing.....

only issue i see is i cannot seem to get the top of the retaining housing all the way back down. still have a 1/16 or 1/32 gap, and i seem to remember it being flush. this leads to a little play in the ball. i plan on taking a bigger hammer to it if it bothers my, but im afraid to crack the plastic....

yes thanks, it actually came saturday afternoon, but i wanst home and it went to the complex office. i worked sunday and couldnt pick it up. got it and installed it today :)

it actually looks like new. how did you get it on and off withought using the extra clip? i broke the stock clip getting it off.

and it was grease free. did you actually use it or just wipe it down really good? :)
