Turbocharging my buddies '98, thoughts?

Hey all.

I'm going to be helping a friend turbocharge his '98. First up we are swapping in a low mileage 1ZZ. Then I'm going to set him up with a low boost turbo.

I think that we'll go with the T25 due to the wide availability, and it's only $300 or so new.

For engine management we'll be using the Greddy eManage. The system seems easy to use and powerful enough for what we need. However, is it true that it only controls fuel, and not timing? What if you get the extra timing harness?

The exhaust manifold is one peice of the puzzle that may be a pain. Where do you get them?

I'll take some measurements once the car is here for the intercooler. I'll just get one of the generic ones off eBay along with piping. What size piping and intercooler are you all using?

The downpipe and exhaust will be custom jobs, I'm thinking 2 1/2 at least.

Alse there will be a BOV (of course), boost guage, air/fuel and exhaust temp (for tuning). Suggestions for what brands to get?
