I doubt there is a specific turbo kit for the 95' Prizm, build your own, always works. Unsure on the price however; I myself am hoping to do the same thing soon.

Those kits won't fit, a guy on vvti bought one and nothing would fit correctly so don't waste your money on them.

Do a search on this man, this question has been asked a million times.

thanks but does not fit is all dependent on the skill and fabrication of the installer, I've come from a time that I've build the whole setup from scratch, not from the time if I gotta treak it is going to kick my ass. I just installed a prototype kit on a Jetta TDI, took me two short work days, yea I fabricated a few pipes, bent some brackets, drilled some holes ran some lines, clocked the turbo, build a drain line and build an entire intake CAI setup, but to me it was a great kit and fit like a glove, I'm sure most guys would sit back and whine, but that kinda of seperates the men from the boys. ya want shake and bake, you should be looking at a stock turbo Neon, cause there is far to little demand for 4 banger Toys.

Well it depends on what you're looking to have done. Why don't you hit me up at joshua@phoenixtuning.com...

Well I'm sure with fabrication anything could be made to fit, but you're spending 3 grand on a turbo kit it better fit like a glove. Custom set ups are pretty much the only way to go.

Just duct tape a leaf blower motor onto your intake and you'll get like 50 more horsepower. I read that on an ebay auction somewhere :)

Yeah, do a search so you can find more threads filled with useless information like this one.

93corolladx is correct, that kit does not fit. Custom is the way to go. If you aren't near a competent shop that will do the job, you can certainly undertake the job yourself. Just take it slow and do lots of research.

You'll need:

Turbo
Exhaust manifold
Downpipe
Intercooler and piping
Turbo oil lines
Engine management (Greddy eManage)
Wastegate (if not built in)
BOV
Boost controller (not required)

Now, are you going with a high boost or low boost setup? If low boost, you can get away with the stock pistons and rods. However, you should not boost beyond 5 or 6 psi if you want any kind of mileage out of your engine.

If you decide you want a high boost setup, then the engine should be rebuilt with low compression pistons and stronger rods. You have a couple options here since you have a '95:

1. (Best option) swap in a 4AGZE. The GZE is supercharged in stock form, so it's all ready for F/I. The transmission that comes with it (from the JDM Levin) also (usually) has LSD. The engine bolts into your car, custom wiring is needed.

2. You can get forged low compression pistons and forged rods for your 4AFE or 7AFE. It's possible for you to use the 4AGZE internals but it hasn't been confirmed. They will fit in, but the pistons might sit higher on the rods and cause higher compression, which is not what you want. So, you might have to go with aftermarket stuff, like from JE or whatever.

Now that your engine is ready for high boost, you can crank it up to around 12-15 psi, as long as you tune carefully and use high octane. If you rebuilt the 4A/7AFE engine then you'll need high flow injectors.

Tuning: you're going to want the ability to control iginition timing and injector pulsewidth. Now using a wideband 02 sensor, you want to keep your a/f ratio at around 12:1. An EGT (exhaust gas temp) sensor is very important also, keep a close eye on that. Obviously you also want a boost guage. Of course the best place to tune is on a dyno since then you'll be able to see the power you're making, but doing a "street tune" will get you pretty close as long as you have the wideband and EGT.

Do a search online for ignition tuning and engine tuning and you'll find some good reads. I hope that helps you out.
