    I saw this 9th gen on cardomain and it got turbo! heres the link: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/558678

    Tell me how he made the plumbing fit or did he get a kit? This is our dreams man and we know we can only hook a TRD supercharger on our 9th gens but this guy Turbocharged it and his car got at least 230 hp. WE CAN DO BETTER :)

    bla... you act like turboing a car is the greatest thing in the world! Its nice and all but give me a break. And by the way... you can turbo ANY car with just about any turbo... you just nee the right piping.

    Well I mean I know that, just wondering at what point that's necessary. I mean like with the TRD s/c its not needed...other than that would you just always do it?

    I would guess if you add 50+ hp to the engine you would want to beef it up if you want to run reliably.

    The simple fact that turboing a 9th gen isn't such a crazy, unheard of, and unachievable idea. With the simple fact that, just like polo708 mentioned, that almost any automobile can be turboed with just about any turbo.

    Not a newbie...just have never put forced induction on a vehicle yet, much less a 1.8L. May not be crazy and unhearrd of but definetly not an everyday occurance either. :meh:

    My friend has a Lanchia Delta rally car (I live in Italy), thing has a 1.3L motor and he's pushing 21 lbs of boost, putting down about 360whp. Displacment isnt all its cracked up to be.
