Turbo will always give u better results as far as performance, but you'll need to get a tranny cooler so u wont blow out ur auto..

check Autozone.....ummm or pepboys. They should have some for about 40-90 bucks depending on the size. I know www.levelten.com has them but I dont know the price on them. You have to call them to get a price. They are on the eastcoast

Here ya go http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/translife-coolers.html I would take it to someone who works on tranny's to install it. You could do it your self, but I would.................I dunno maybe it is eazy.No you know what............go to a tranny guy 1st and see what size he recomends

I'm pretty sure if you went with turbo, transmission cooler will help. Same with the supercharger too, although the supercharger does not require one. TRD say it is safe for the 1.8L application. For the Tacoma's and Tundra's, they do make transmission cooler by TRD because of higher power output. They even got their own line of boost guages too!!! Why not make one for the Corolla? SHeesh, TRD.

a tranny cooler would be a good investment even if u never do another thing to ur car because it will prolong the life of ur tranny, especially if u drive like me

the thing is just be prepaired to fabricate a new downpipe and uppipe for that TSI kit, remember, its made for our engine, not our car. Just because the turbo and manifold will bolt onto the back of the head doesnt mean that anything else will fit...believe me, i know

the SF turbo kit is for our cars. but it is pricey at $3200 but it is worth the money, since it is tested and tuned for our cars.

if i could do it over, i'd buy the SF kit instead of make my own, i thought it would be cheaper to make my own... but it turned out to be more expensive and not quite as good as the sf kit...
