    TRD Supercharger for 2005

I made the fatal mistake of buying an 05 corolla S becasue I thought that soon there would be TRD superchargers available. I have been all over TRD hotwired and have never seen the part come available. I emailed TRD and they told me there are no plans for a supercharger for the 2005 Corolla. They didnt answer the question of compatibility of the 2004 supercharger working with my 05.
My question is: has anyone ever thrown a charger on an 05? What mods are neccesary? Is the ECM the only hang up between the years?
Thanks for your time, I have searched and couldnt come up with a thread that could answer this question

TRD supercharger won't works on 05 cause of the drive-by-wire thing.

there was a company in Canada that fabricated something to make it fit an 05' and they ran an article about it.

The guys over at www.9thgencorolla.com have gotten in touch with them, but they (or TRD) have no plans on mass producing anything for you guys. Kinda lame I know...

you can make it work, but with toyota's etcs it just makes everything harder (let alone causing more problems and service bulletins)

I was thinking on getting an 05' too here in a few months and throw a TRD exhaust and S/C off the lot but I got informed by my friend last night that that TRD ain't making crap for us anymore so I said fook it........ dissapointing to me really by Toyota's part man, they see the Corolla community growing and they just cut production of parts..... sad stuff man

you don't need the parts to modify. custom is more fun and more satisfying :)

Just find a 03 Corolla S with 1000 miles on it preferably from an old folk and buy it for 13Gs and hook the S/C or trade your car in for a Corolla XRS, its better than driving a car whos throttle is controlled by an ECU not you
