trd lower coils

trd lower coils

has anyone installed the trd lowering coils on a corolla03 and up. if so i heard that getting a level lowering kit throughtout the car will make the front looks as thought it rides higher than the back which i don't want if i get the trd's. they lower the car 1.25" thanks

TRD Lowering Springs

I installed a set of TRD springs on my '04 LE and was disappointed in the ride.
POGO effect and sharp jolts.
Then I installed a set of DropZone struts using the TRD springs and was I impressed!
The ride is almost better than the stock setup from the factory.

To this I added a Progress rear sway bar.
I can't recommend this combination enough.

The car dropped 1.5 inches, (Not 1.25 like the advertizing says.) and corners both flat and level.
The rear no longer rises in a corner like the stock setup did.
And the steering is almost neutral.

A fat set of sticky tires is all you would need to round this package out.
So I got some 215 55 16 Hydroedge Michelins and mounted them on some "X" chrome 6 spoke 7"x16" rims.

This is one sweet riding little car now, and the tires are rated for 85,000 miles.

I had tried an 18" set up and hated the lack of cushin-ing the super short sidewalls provided.
They may have looked neat, but the ride sucked.

So you would say dropzone makes good quality struts? Do you know if they make struts for an o1?

did you put a front and rear strut, and what if i did not get the sway bars would the ride still have that pogo affect? thanks
