    Trd Lip Spoiler

    I got a TRD rear lip spoiler for mad cheap for my 01. Anyway, there aren't any install instructions that came with it. It only came with adhesive accelerater and a piece of fine sandpaper. What's the right way to install this spoiler?

    Clean the surface very well. Find the correct placement. Mark your registration lines around the edges of the spoiler so you have a visual aid for final placement.
    Remove the backing to the 3m tape on the spoiler. Clean the surface again with the adhesive accelerator (alchohol). Use your tape marks to place the spoiler in the correct place. Take your time. You may lightly touch a small end of the spoiler to the trunk and pivot from there to give you more control. A quick jerk upwards will release the adhesive if you've got to reset it. Avoid doing that too much.
    Just take your time. Think it out. I like to work where it's quiet for stuff like this.
    If you really screw up don't worry. You can pry it off and buy new tape at a home depot.
