Engine TRD intake Loud?

    TRD intake Loud?

    Yeah this is a completely Rice question, but the sound of the intake does matter to me. I was wondering how loud the TRD intake for the 03-04 Rollas is?

    no idea - i wouldn't pay what TRD wants for their cai - i have the AEM and it sounds great. unfortunately, it makes the car SOUND a lot more powerful than it is lol.

    also, this is on a 5 speed, so i have to let off the gas between gears - would sound considerably different on an auto.

    Well I was told at the dealership that the TRD intake is just a repackaged AEM intake. even comes in a box with AEM wrote on it. But yeah My Corolla is 5 speed so it would sound like yours.
